Simplifying complex ventilation. Bedside cardio-pulmonary monitoring for personalized care.

The VQm Pulmonary Health Monitor™ is the first stand-alone system to provide measurements of heart and lung parameters at the patient’s bed side to support personalized lung protective ventilation of mechanically ventilated patients. Personalizing ventilation requires understanding the dynamics between the heart and lungs. Current technologies only provide partial information, require invasive catheters, are not universally adaptable to any ventilator and require extensive training.

Parameters that provide insight into the individual ventilation-perfusion (V/Q) behaviour of a patient can help clinicians understand underlying pathophysiological processes and guide patient management to optimize therapy and improve outcomes. Rostrum’s VQm PHM™ is capable of obtaining critical measurements non-invasively and in near real time.
